Nei dintorni è possibile visitare il borgo medievale di Monteveglio dominato dall'antica Abbazia , che fu costruita prima dell'anno 1000 e divenne proprietà della contessa Matilde. Il borgo sorge nel centro del Parco Regionale dell'Abbazia, 900 ettari di boschi, campi, vigneti e calanchi.
Nel centro del paese di Bazzano invece è possibile visitare la Rocca dei Bentivoglio anche questa di origini medievali. La leggenda narra che ci sia una galleria sotterranea che collega la Rocca al castello di Monteveglio dove sarebbero nascosti tesori della contessa.
